For the month of April there has been an offer from SU of a free paper pack if you spend £45 or more.  I chose 'Nursery Nest' papers and although you may thibk they are just for childrens cards they are far from it!  Here are 2 examples I have made using the same paper and design bur different colours and theme!

This is a card I did as a sample for the workshop on Wednesday.  Using 'Fox and Friends' stamp set.  The background was embossed with SU 'textured impressions square lattice folder.'  THANKS FOR LOOKING

Yesterday I did a workshop for a lady and as most of her friends had school age children I thought it would be a good idea to theme the make and take on that.  I must give credit to this design to my Stampin Up Grandma Julie - her blog is http://juliesjapes.blogspot.co.uk/ go along and check it out - she has some amazing stuff on there!

On Saturday I went to an all day training event at Leeds.  There were 28 ladies there and we all made a card or project to swap - hence I came back home with 27 different ideas - good eh?!

This was the card I made for my swap.  A sneak peek (papers, stamp set and punch) into what will be available in the new mini summer catalogue which starts on 1st May.   THANKS FOR CHECKING BACK

QUEENS JUBILEE

Hello everyone - well it has been a little while since my last blog but what with Easter and Grandparent duties I don't seem to have had the time to blog.  Hopefully now that has been resolved so keep checking back to see what will be on my blog for the rest of this week!

As it is the Queen's julbilee year and there will be lots of street parties going on I thought it might be nice to do a couple of invitation cards.  The first one is a retired set from Stampin Up which was free from this years  Sale-a-Bration.  It is called 'Elementary Elegance'  If you were lucky enough to get it (or know someone who has it) you may want to have a go at making this.

If you dont have that particulaar set you may want to have a go at the next card.  Again all elements are from Stampin Up the bunting being made using the 'Petite Pennants' punch and greeting is Sincere Salutations.  The little flowers at the top are the flower punch from 'itty bitty punches set'.  If you need to get your hands on any supplies please contact me and I can purchase them for you.

The last of the Mocha Morning set - (for now!)  The swirl paper is actually flocked and feels so luxurious.  Anyone receiving this card will be delighted I'm sure.

Thursday 5 April 2012

This time mocha morning papers were combined with a stamp from 'Lovely as a Tree' set embossed in gold and the background of the base card was stamped with the same image using vesamark ink.

Guess what - Mocha morning papers again but so simple.  This would be ideal for a mans card.  I cased it a little from my sister-in-laws blog at http://kraftsbykatemartin.blogspot.com/ - check her version out!

After my friend went on Friday I finished off a card which I had started before she arrived.  Still on the theme of Mocha Morning Pepers - I just love them!

Hello everyone - I didn't realise it has been a week since my last posting - how time flies!.. A friend came on Friday to craft and we were busy chatting about various things (including starting scrapbooking) that we only made one card! Aaaah well - the best made plans and all that.  Anyway I hope you like THE ONE that I made.    My friend's was slightly different although the same design.  Wouldn't do for us all to be the same would it?
